A new Halloween experience is coming to downtown Charleston this fall with the opening of Capitol Horror Thrill Haunted House, presented by Salango Law.
Located at 210 Capitol St. in Charleston, the haunted attraction will open Friday, Sept. 25, and operate every Friday and Saturday through Oct. 31. Hours will be 7 p.m. to midnight.
Salango Law will serve as the exclusive presenting sponsor of Capitol Horror Thrill Haunted House.
“Salango Law is proud to help bring a new Halloween experience to the heart of downtown Charleston,” said Ben Salango, founder of Salango Law. “We believe in supporting events that give people a reason to come downtown, spend time together and experience something memorable right here in our community.”
Created and operated by Tickers & Timbers, Capitol Horror Thrill Haunted House will transform the downtown property into an immersive haunted experience designed to give residents and visitors a new destination for Halloween entertainment.
“We want this to become a complete Halloween experience that gives people another reason to come downtown, have fun and make memories throughout the season,” said Tonya Perry, owner of Tickers & Timbers. “We are putting a great deal of creativity into the attraction itself, while also looking at how we can bring additional entertainment and activity to Capitol Street.”
In addition to the haunted attraction, organizers are developing plans for an expanded downtown community Halloween event on Friday, Oct. 30.
Activities include a street closure near the attraction, music, family-friendly Halloween activities, trunk-or-treating, hearse displays, outdoor decorations and entertainment.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.tickersandtimbers.com. Additional details about the Oct. 30 community event will be announced in the coming weeks.
