The Lady Cougars hosted the Lady Warriors Wednesday, April 13, suffering a 3-10 loss.
Abigail Epperson took the loss on the hill for the Cougars.
Laine Hopkins led the offense with 2 hits, a home run, and 3 RBI’s.
Lauren Fulcher, Samantha Harris, McKenzie Holt and Kursten Hylton all had hits for the Cougars. Four errors by the Cougars contributed to the loss.
On Thursday, April 14, the Cougars hosted Eastern Montgomery, defeating them 22-3. Brooke Meade threw 2 perfect innings for the win and Hylton pitched the final 3 for Patrick County. Fulcher, Epperson, Autumn Heath, and Holt had 2 hits each. Epperson had 4 RBIs, while Harris, Tessa Haas, and Madison Greer each added 3. The Cougars are now 6 and 5 on the year.
