HUNTINGTON — The City of Huntington announced an initiative Monday to expand and help coordinate services for people experiencing homelessness.
Huntington is among eight communities selected to receive funding through the new Safety Through Recovery, Engagement, and Evidence-based Treatment and Support (STREETS) program administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The grant was announced late last week by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
