Heading into Election Day, the residents of Buchanan had the chance to speak with their candidates for Buchanan Town Council last week following a candidates’ forum held at the Buchanan Theatre last Wednesday.
Buchanan Town Council candidates James Manspile (I), Mitchell Fritz (I), James Eubank (I), and E.D. Schechterly (I) fielded questions posed by Buchanan Mayor Craig Bryant.
The candidates answered queries about their roles if elected as members of Town Council, what they believe are significant issues in Buchanan, potential changes in town policies, goals, and how they plan on incorporating residents and business owners in the decision-making process.
Following the candidates’ forum, members of the Buchanan community in attendance had a chance to speak with all four candidates.
