The Dobyns Community building was the site of a milestone 80th birthday celebration for June Fain Williams. Born February 4, 1942, June grew up in the Dobyns Community and is the daughter of the late Hobert and Ida Dollarhite Fain. Always active and ready to extend a helping hand, June was honored by friends and family on Friday, February 4. Music, food and fellowship were enjoyed by all in attendance. June, a 1960 graduate of Stuart High School, began her 30 year career at the Dupont Nylon Company in Martinsville, Va., from 1963-1993. She has been active in her community throughout the years, participating in various dancing groups, enjoyed playing on many bowling teams. She loves to attend live music events, and has traveled to as many of her children and grand-children’s sporting events as possible.
During her life, June has also been blessed to travel and see the world visiting every state in the USA, also traveled abroad to 8 different International countries. She is the mother of Duane Williams, Revonda Morse, grandmother of five, Ashleigh Williams, Jake Williams, Morse Morse, Brent Morse and Jill Williams and great-grandma to Brayden Hylton, Alana Morris and new great-granddaughter, to arrive in June. Thanks to all who joined in our celebration of the birthday girl.
