Our local Craig Valley VFW Post 4491 has started a fundraiser to help offset their bills and help pay for the needs at their Post.
They are designing their own cookbook and are looking for people in Craig to donate their recipes for them. The deadline for recipe submission is July 24.
The titles to the different cookbook sections are appetizers, soup and salads, main dish, side dish, desserts and wild game.
Also, any great recipes for diabetics would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to submit 5-6 recipes from each person.
Michelle Songer is heading this grand fundraiser and will be at Food Country on Saturday, July 23 from 3-5 p.m., if you would like to drop off your recipes.
Also, they are looking for businesses to put ads in their cookbook. It is a 4” x 2” ad for only $35.00.
