The Patrick County Varsity Boys Basketball Team hosted Staunton River on December 6. The Cougars defeated the Golden Eagles 64-54, giving them their 3rd win this season.
Patrick County had a 10-point lead at half. Staunton River tried to make something happen in the 2nd half, but the Cougars held on for the win. David Smith led the Cougars with 21 points. Jaivontae Penn had 18 points. Payton Stovall and Michael Nelson had 8 points each.
