The Lady Cougar Volleyball Teams traveled to Dan River October 3.
The Varsity Cougars won in 4 sets with scores of 25-23, 16-25, 25-21, and 25-11. Samantha Harris had 17 kills and 8 digs. Lilly Byers had 36 assists and 4 aces. Marissa Bentley had 10 kills, 4 blocks, and 5 aces. Journey Moore had 19 digs and 4 assists.
The JV Lady Cougars fell to Dan River in two sets: 23-25 and 19-25. Camille Gonzalez had 4 kills, 4 digs, 8 assists, and 3 aces. Sophie Scruggs had 4 kills, and Jayden Callahan had 6 digs and 2 kills. The Cougar Teams hosted GW Danville October 4 with each team getting a win. The varsity team won in straight sets with scores of 25-5, 27-13, and 25-7. The JV Lady Cougars defeated the Lady Eagles in two sets, 25-6 and 25-17.
