The Tuesday Morning Club met on March 14 at Troutville Church of Brethren with nine members and one guest. Ruby Taylor called the meeting to order, Dot Hillard was hostess and had devotions, and Rita Bruffey won the hostess gift. Nancy Waddell read minutes of the previous meeting. Ruby Taylor gave treasurer’s report. Their March project was donations to county high schools’ after-prom parties. They also made Easter bags for veterans at Cave Creek to be delivered in April. Next month, their project will be a donation to Fincastle Fire Department. They also will bring food items to be delivered to Troutville Baptist food bank. Game prizes were won by Gale Webb and Barrie Knox. The club’s next meeting will be April 11 at the church. New members are welcome.
