The Town of Fincastle anticipates having trick-or-treating on Monday, Oct. 31. Folks will gather around Courthouse Square between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Parents are asked to bring a bag of individually wrapped candy, to assist homeowners with the cost of candy, that will be distributed by volunteers to the open homes that evening. Trick-or-treating will start from the Courthouse Square at 6:30 p.m.
Please be careful driving through, and walking around, town for trick-or-treating this Halloween night.
This is not a town-sponsored event. While town staff has taken the task of assisting with the volunteer candy distribution to open homes, individual homeowners decide whether or not they want to hand out candy.
