The Patrick County School Board approved selling two of its vehicles as surplus at its Thursday, July 21 meeting.
Schools Superintendent Jason Wood said the division recently replaced several vehicles.
“We have two that are valued more for scrap than they are at their Bluebook value due to the condition which they are, high milage, or an accident, or just the condition that they are,” he said.
In other matters, the board:
*Approved the personnel report as amended.
*Approved the consent agenda.
*Approved the fiscal year 2023 budget amendment.
*Approved the Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) policy updates.
*Nominated Amy Walker, of the Mayo River District, as Vice-Chair to the VSBA Regional Office.
