Roanoke Cement Co. has once again supported local youth in the Botetourt County. Specifically, 2022 is the second consecutive year that the company has purchased a livestock project from a Botetourt 4-H’er. Roanoke Cement has chosen to support the youth by purchasing the animal shown at the Virginia State Fair and then turn around and donate that meat to the local food pantry. The level of community support and youth agriculture development that the company shows is very much appreciated. A special thank you to Lindsey Layman for her help and dedication.
