The Botetourt Retired Educators (BRE) met on March 13 at Bellacino’s in Daleville. The program was a presentation by Beth and Chris Woodrum, owners of Chris’s Coffee and Custard. The coffee and custard shop creates meaningful employment for people with special abilities. Chris’s hopes to buy a food truck, enabling the young adults to be out in the community for special events. The last BRE meeting of the year will be on May 8.
