Beginning Monday, May 9, a portion of Virginia 653 (Ayers Orchard Road) will be closed to through traffic near the intersection of Virginia 661 (Clark House Farm Road) for a bridge replacement over Little Russell Creek.
Weather permitting, the road will re-open to traffic on Friday, May 20.
Directional signs will be in place to help motorists.
