Kirin Miller, a member of the Lord Botetourt FFA chapter, will be on stage and in the spotlight October 26-29 during the 2022 National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Ind.
Miller, a senior at Lord Botetourt High School and the daughter of Megen Mellom, has been selected to be a member of the National FFA Chorus. For this process, Kirin had to submit an audition video along with her application. She was going for one of the elite positions available to help make the convention and expo special for those in attendance.
This year there were over 1,000 FFA members from across the nation that auditioned for either the National Chorus, Band or Talent. Kirin will be the only FFA member from Virginia participating in the National Chorus.
The National FFA Chorus performs many times during the convention at many of the sessions as well as a public concert while in Indianapolis. There performances add excitement and motivation through music to the over 100,000 members and guests that will be in attendance at the convention.
Kirin will join fellow chorus members in Indianapolis for rehearsals three days before the convention and expo begins.
Corteva Agriscience™ sponsors the National FFA Chorus.
