Greetings from the Craig County Friends of Library,
We hope this finds you doing well and enjoying the holiday season. After the past few years, the library staff and volunteers have all enjoyed finding some normalcy once again. When I visit, I see people of all ages using the computers, checking out books and movies, and discovering events on the community bulletin boards. If you haven’t visited our little library lately, you should. Although space is limited, they sure know how to use what they have wisely.
I am thankful that in 2022 I was able to participate in two of the three Library SWAP DAYS, and I have to say, those are my favorite days! I truly enjoy connecting with other members of our community and seeing happy people leave with FREE books, warm attire, plants, and holiday decorations or housewares. I enjoy seeing people return each season to peruse what we have to share. If you are driving by in April, June, or November and see the parking lot bustling, please stop in, even if just to say hello and browse.
Best wishes to all,
Joanna L. Ryan
President
