The 2021-22 edition of James River High School (JRHS) literary magazine “Currents” is now available online.
JRHS junior Anya Justice provided the cover of this year’s magazine. Justice is a native of Ukraine whose artwork depicts a young girl in a native Ukrainian dress, framed in a sunflower– the country’s national flower– underneath a rainbow.
“Currents” showcases JRHS students’ talents in literature and art, combining both mediums on each page. The collaborative effort presents poetry, short stories, photography, paintings, drawings, sculptures, and more.
