Ronceverte-Kay Ballard Morgan, 81, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at The Brier Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born June 6, 1941, in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late Loyd and Mildred Crone Ballard.
Kay was a second grade teacher at Ronceverte Elementary School and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith E. Morgan in 2019.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Peggy Crawford (Henry) of Ronceverte; brother-in-law, Mark Morgan of Charlottesville, VA; cousins, Carol Dixon, Dwight Ferguson (Sue) and Shirley Ferguson all of Charles Town, WV and Judy Ballard of Florida; nieces and nephew, Kelli Bostic (Jamie) of Ronceverte, Charles Crawford of Organ Cave, Jennifer Miller (C.J.) of Frankford and Tonya Wolford of Mineral, VA.
Funeral services for Kay will be on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte with Rev. Dr. Joe Geiger officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 11, from 2 until 3 p.m. at the church.
