Last week, the Botetourt Town & Country Women’s Club (GFWC) cleaned the old outbuilding behind the 1871 Museum on Main Street in Fincastle. Shown are Grace Tesoro, Mary Wingate, Beth Pappas, Sandy Pauley and Ann Layman. The Botetourt GFWC has chosen the Botetourt County Historical Society & Museum for their two-year community improvement project. They cleaned and painted all the rooms before anything was moved into the former home and law office which is now home to the new museum, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the Fincastle Festival.
