Skylar Gay of Fincastle is a 2022 graduate of Virginia Western Community College and current student at the University of Virginia.
During that summer, she was selected by the University of Georgia to participate in the Research Experience for Undergraduates. Skylar will be presenting her research at the WorldCUR 2023 hosted by Warwick University in Birmingham, UK. She was selected from an applicant pool of 503 from 32 countries.
