The Patrick County High School Fishing Team competed against area high school teams in the southern division of the B.A.S.S. Nation of Virginia final state qualifier at a cold windy Philpott Lake. State Results are in. Congratulations to Jonah Shockley and Hunter Heath; and Eli Wood and Evan Wood, they were all able to secure a spot in the state tournament. The four will be joining the previous tournament qualifiers Jake Caine, Devin Walker, Caleb Geiger, Cameron Collins, Will Heath, Chace Handy, Caleb Hostetter and Evan Havens at the State Championship to be held at Lake Gaston in April.
