Tripp Thompson and Jacob Spencer placed 2nd and won the “Big Fish” contest with a 2.7-pound catch in the JR division. The total weigh in was 7.03 pounds. On March 18, they competed in the Junior Division against 15 other area high school teams at the B.A.S.S. Nation of Virginia Youth tournament at Philpott Lake.
