The Campbell-Flannagan-Murrell House Museum (CFM) in Hinton is pleased to announce a corporate sponsorship from Indicia Consulting. Corporate sponsors have their logo on the CFM sign and are listed in CFM publications. Indicia Consulting was founded in 2006 and conducts research on energy and behavior for a variety of clients, including state governments, federal agencies, corporations, and non-profit organizations.
Dr. Susan Mazur-Stommen, the founder and principal of Indicia Consulting, is an anthropologist who has researched culture, behavior, and sustainability for over 30 years. Dr. Mazur-Stommen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from San Jose State University. She received both a Master of Arts and a Doctorate in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Riverside. She is a Fulbright recipient and a former Smithsonian Institution fellow where she worked on a book about the Hope Diamond.
Ms. Mazur-Stommen and her family relocated to Hinton in 2019. She has great grandparents buried in the Old Stone Church cemetery in Lewisburg but preferred to move to Hinton. Ms. Mazur-Stommen appreciates the historic preservation in Hinton, the positive efforts at revitalization, and the many activities available here year round.
