WV Chamber unveils agenda, speakers for business summit
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — The largest gathering of business, industry, education, finance and government leaders from across West Virginia will take place from Aug. 27-29 at The Greenbrier as the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce hosts its 89th Annual Meeting & Business Summit.
This year’s theme is “Forging Alliances, Fueling Success.” More than 1,200 are predicted to attend the three-day event.
Special guests will include Jonathan Martin, politics bureau chief and senior political columnist at POLITICO and Chris Stirewalt, political editor at NewsNation and The Hill, and a New York Times bestselling author.
Speakers will include U.S. Sens. Shelley Moore Capito and Jim Justice, both R-W.Va.; Marshall University President Brad Smith; West Virginia University’s new President Michael Benson and Ron Clark, Disney’s “American Teacher of the Year.”
