Botetourt Technical Education Center Aerospace students Gabriel Jones, Bryce Finney and Ridge Radtke passed the knowledge test for the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate with a small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) rating. This certificate allows the operation of small, unmanned aircraft (drones) less than 55 pounds for compensation or hire.
