Alice Jessup Clement, 83, of Ararat, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at her home. She was born April 18, 1939, to the late Robert and Ida May Nunn Jessup in Mount Airy, NC. Alice had been employed by Beverly Enterprise from which she retired as a Dietician. She enjoyed life with her family and friends. Cooking, gardening, playing Rook, and spending time with her faithful dog, Katie, were some of her favorite activities. She was an amazing cook and prided herself on her homemade meals enjoyed by her family. In addition to her parents, Ms. Clement was preceded in death by her brother, Joe “Boo” Jessup; sister Mary Taylor. Ms. Clement leaves behind three daughters, Margaret “Lynn” Williams (Bob); Carol “Ann” Clement, and Teresa Clement Nichols; and son, Charlie William Clement III (Sandra); and sisters, Jackie Dahliwal and Bobbie Brown. She cherished her grandchildren, Travis Nichols, Allyson Clement, and Charlie “Will” Clement, and her great-grandson, Jackson Nichols. Graveside Service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at The Clement Family Cemetery, 6997 Ararat Hwy., Ararat, VA 24053.
