Spring cleaning is not limited to homes. Mountaineer Garden Club member, Glenda Lipscomb, volunteers Mimi Kibler and Michelle Felton with Master Gardener and Mountaineer Garden Club member Faith Moore, spent two rainy hours on March 7 picking up trash along the rail trail from the nursery bottom to Hambleton. Supplies were obtained from the DOH. Any group, club or individual can access supplies and pick up trash in any public area. Despite the rain, all members of the group voiced their satisfaction in making a difference in the community.
