The results are in and the Mountaineer Garden Club Easter Display. The theme this year was A Tisket A Tasket, an Easter Basket.
Members of the garden club presented some amazing entries. Honorable mention was awarded to Sharon Kidwell for her basket of artfully arranged Tulips, baby’s breath and dogwood flowers. Third place was won by Vivian Shomo’s two- tiered arrangement of orange and yellow lilies, topped off with an adorable duckling. Linda Sherman’s basket was filled with dazzling daffodils accompanied by a burlap bunny. First place blue ribbon was awarded to Faith Moore’s rendition of a bike basket filled with a variety of spring flowers such as Irises, Lupines, seed pods, Hyacinths and a wide variety of greenery.
