The Wild Bean and Thunderbird Taco are getting a facelift just in time for fall! The two ever-popular downtown hotspots are both getting a new front facade, with the Bean even expanding their outdoor seating. Roger Dolan, owner of the Wild Bean, said, “There will be a lot of copper on the front of the bean, as well as a new awning. The taco shop will be getting an awning, as well, along with new window trim.”
The Bean will install new wood trim, copper field panels, and menu boards, while Thunderbird will add new wooden trim and relocate their sign. Both businesses will have a fresh coat of paint, along with brand new outdoor recessed lighting. JK Janiga Architects have designed the plans, which have been approved by the Historic Landmarks Commission.
