The Botetourt County Department of County Administration officially moved into the Greenfield Education and Training Center in Daleville last Wednesday.

The move impacted four county employees. The county’s Department of Economic Development was the first department to move into Greenfield. Impacting four county employees, Economic Development’s move occurred in June of this year.

Unlike some of the other office space in the building, the two suites that County Administration and Economic Development now occupy were move-in ready.

In total, there are seven suites in the facility— three on the upper level and four on the lower level.

Cody Sexton, assistant to the county administrator and one of the four employees who just moved into the Greenfield facility, said that he’s looking forward to having the majority of county employees under one roof once the multistage relocation process is complete. He noted that by having everyone in the same facility, interdepartmental collaboration will increase.
