The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce builds a coterie of volunteers to greet and receive guests to the sleek, new Chamber offices of 210 Laurel Street Suite B.

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to assist with staffing the lobby and front-office operations of their new home at 210 Laurel Street Suite B.

Tech-savvy greeters and receptionists who know – or want to learn – about the community, are sought to support efforts that promote the county as a business destination.

 

The volunteers would help with a variety of tasks, such as welcoming and helping visitors, notifying Chamber staff of visitor arrivals and maintaining telecommunication systems. We are looking for volunteers that are engaging and professional with great organization and communication skills.

 

 

The Chamber hopes to attract 30 volunteers who would like to give 2-3 hours per week or bi-weekly to the Chamber.

 

This volunteer initiative, dubbed “Chamber Builds Community” or CBC, is the fourth initiative to be launched in 2019.
