Maps are now available at the Botetourt/Craig/Roanoke County FSA Office for acreage reporting purposes. Producers may pick them up any time during office hours. If you wish to receive your maps by e-mail, call the office or email Jean Hazlegrove at jean.hazlegrove@usda.gov or Hayley Wentzel at hayley.wentzel@usda.gov.

The following acreage reporting deadline for Botetourt/Craig/Roanoke County is July 15 for:

hay/pasture (acreage not enrolled in the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program  –  NAP), corn, cotton, cover crops, CRP, grain sorghum, forage sorghum, peanuts, soybeans, tobacco, vegetables, and other spring/summer crops to the local FSA County Office.

In order to maintain program eligibility and benefits, producers must timely file acreage reports. Failure to file an acreage report by the crop acreage reporting deadline may result in ineligibility for future program benefits. Late-filed acreage reports will require the payment of a measurement service fee to FSA.  FSA will not accept late-filed acreage reports provided more than a year after the acreage reporting deadline.
