At the top of the evening, C of C Board President Cathey Sawyer and Executive Director Ashley Vickers welcomed the approximately 225 guests attending, and announced some of the Chamber’s upcoming events. An informational seminar will be offered at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre called The Health Plan for Chamber members from 5:50 to 6:30 p.m. on Apr. 17, and Vickers said the Mega Business has been renamed as the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce Business Expo to be held on Sept. 26.

The New Business of the Year Award went to Warner Music School, located in downtown Lewisburg, at 174 North LaFayette Street. Claiming to have the “WMS Difference,” Rachel Warner, who accepted the award, said, “The school’s mission is to instill the love of music in everything we do.” Since 2017, the Warner Music School has grown from four teachers to 13, offering students exposure to more than 20 instruments. It is the largest and most diverse music school in Greenbrier County and provides private lessons and group classes to folks of all ages, even down to 18 months of age.
