Tucker County has a new class of students who are investing their time and talent in seeking to join an elite group of highly-skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).

Guest instructor in picture two is Brett Ware, Tucker County’s 911 Communicator Director, who presented on communication protocol and demonstrated how one of the systems is used.

Class members, taught by Lynda Gray and Tom Klus with guest presenters, began September 4 and will finish their 155-hour course in November. The course, which bears significant costs in mandated textbooks and fees for students, was partially funded by private donors.
