August 2018 marks McClain Printing Company’s 60th year of printing in Parsons, West Virginia. Since 1958, MPC has published and printed quality books, posters, brochures, folders, reports, postcards, booklets, pamphlets, rack cards, and much more.

Many of West Virginia’s fifty-five counties have their history preserved in book form because of McClain Printing Company. MPCs latest book publication to be released this fall is A Pictorial History of Dry Fork Railroad, West Virginia and Surrounding Areas.

Ken Smith, president and CEO of MPC, continues the McClain family business from his father, the late George A. Smith, and his grandfather, the late Kenneth Smith.

This year, we salute the matriarch of MPC, Mariwyn McClain Smith, who died this spring after an extensive illness. Mariwyn was the publisher and editor of the still-thriving Parsons Advocate for over thirty years.
