Tim Kaine

Radford University announced today that United States Senator Tim Kaine will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2018 Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 5, at 11:00 a.m. on the university’s Moffett Lawn. More than 1,700 students are expected to graduate.


Kaine was elected to the Senate in 2012, where he serves on the Armed Services, Budget, Foreign Relations and Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committees. He is Ranking Member of the Armed Services Readiness Subcommittee and the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Near East, South Asia, Central Asia, and Counterterrorism.
